Before we decide how we can Follow the Savior's example of charity we should be sure we have an understanding of what Charity is as defined by the Savior himself. As you're watching this video replace "charity" with "Christ" and you will see how He is our perfect example. Then replace "charity" with your own name, and see if you are living up to your potential.
The scriptures teach us that we must "pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart that we may be filled with this love which He hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of His son Jesus Christ." (Moroni 7: 48)
We challenge you to do just that. Pray every day that you may have opportunities to develop charity in your life. Then look for the opportunities Heavenly Father provides for you as you go about your day. When you drive, grocery shop, talk to your spouse, your kids, friends and neighbors, if you're at school or at work, and when you attend your church meetings and go visiting teaching.
You will never go wrong when you error on the side of compassion because we know that "Charity Never Faileth."
