This month we invite you to increase your knowledge of gospel topics that will strengthen you personally as well as your home and family. Select a gospel principle you would like to understand better (for example, faith, repentance, charity, forgiveness, eternal families, the atonement, or covenants). Read scriptures and the words of latter-day prophets that relate to that principle. Keep a notebook close by and record any thoughts or feelings you have as you study and learn. Take time to ponder what you're learning and then apply that knowledge in your life.
Remember the Lord said, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a
reason of the hope that is in you with meakness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15).
How will we be ready to give an answer if we haven't gained the knowledge we need?
